The Knox Room is the main banqueting space. Gone are the draughts that are and were a feature of these great rooms and are still a feature of less well-renovated Scottish castles and mansion houses.

Now the famous Knox Room, named after the first owner, features décor that enhances the original elegance but has all the convenience and comfort of modern amenities.

Unlike most banqueting suites, especially within older houses it has tall glass windows on two sides that also open out into the conservatory, so it is light and bright eminently more suitable to a happy bright Scottish wedding.

Then during the evening the curtains are drawn, the tables are rearranged around the dance floor and it then has the atmosphere of an upmarket sophisticated city centre club.
